My Top Priorities As a Candidate

Find new sources of revenue for the state.

We need to exhaust all efforts to diversify our revenue. The state can’t and shouldn’t depend so heavily on the permanent fund and federal government. Taxing Alaskans should be a last resort.

Responsible resource development

Alaska must work with the private sector as well as local and federal governments to maximize our potential for the benefit of Alaskans

Pro family policies

Young families face many uphill battles, with childcare being one of the most challenging. Alaska ranks in the bottom third of states for raising a family

Education

We should expand education options for families as well as increase support for brick-and-mortar schools

Support a balanced budget

Dipping into our savings year after year is unsustainable. We need to find inefficiencies and waste in the budget while also raising new revenue streams
